CG on most aircraft starts at about 25 to 30% back from the leading of the total width of the wing fairly close to the fuse, i.e if the wing is 90 mm in width then the CG is some where close to 90 x 30 / 100 to 90 x 25 / 100 or 27 mm to 22 mm back from the leading edge. This is a rule of thumb and a good place to start trying to balance the aircraft. The Cg in many manuals is just a starting point and will need to be played with to get the desired flight characteristics. A CG is obviously critical and the manuals are not always dead on. A horribly placed CG on any aircraft could lead to an up your butt experience literally. Please be careful, The ER rooms hate retrieving toys out of hobbyist rectums.

No,sounds painful!!!!

Mark, you've oversimplified the CG location. What you say is correct for a rectangular wing, or one with only a slight taper or sweep. The "correct" location is at 25% of the Mean Aerodynamic Chord, and this works regardless of wing taper or sweep. Google "mean aerodynamic chord" The NASA (...Scale Aircraft) website has a calculator. Some of the images give a good idea of what's going on.

What diameter of the spinner, I will buy aluminum. Tranks
 Toby 1 points
I just received this model. The nose diameter is almost exactly 35mm. A 35mm spinner would be perfect. You could get away with 32mm spinner or even one a little larger but get 35mm if you can.
 Toby 1 points
I should mention that the model came with a ~32mm plastic spinner (2 blade) that looks pretty nice. It's off-white color so it doesn't match the bright white of the model but it's pretty close. It looks like it's for a 3mm motor shaft www.link but the NTM motor I got www.link has a 4mm shaft. The NTM motor is way better if you are looking to build a high-speed model.

No need for a manual for this little thing. In fact no need manual for anything unless if it's a helicopter and you want to know where parts goes. Or a bigger plane then this micro.

ya icer93705 well he wants 1 were would u put the cg. up your butt
 jcer93705 104 points
Any when I was young maybe 5 or so I knew where was all the cg on every plane. So no need to put my butt in the conversation that just make you look gay.
 Lauronha 7 points
Jcer93705, i disagree with judging people or using bad words, that includes you also, loren. But, i must say that every plane on earth has its own ideal cg. So it seems to me that loren's concern is feasible.
 jcer93705 104 points
Most of the planes is the highest point of the air foil for cg. But it is good to have nose heavy at first maiden flight then having tail heavy at first flight. Having very low rates help alot for first flight. Putting one together is easy and this should not be meant for someone that is new neither because this plane is not easy to fly especially at first flight. This plane meant to go fast. Hm Actually i was born in Fresno but don't live in Fresno. Sorry for my language at the past.
