I need to plug 2 of these into a Nano-Tech battery, is there a particular adaptor I can use to plug the 2 ESC's into a battery?
Thank you

What is the size of this ESC, Trying to find a 50a ESc that will fit Between the frame of a hk450 pro.
thanks
 Matthew Hellyar 6 points
you will have trouble fitting it in side the frame. It will just squeeze in width wise bu it is over 80mm long so it will not fit under the battery tray unless you do some modification so that it can poke out the front.

I have a 450 Helli, this normally runs a 40a ESC,is it better to go up in amps or should I stick to what I have, I have noticed the last coulpe of flights a stutter or quick break up of power,if I dont do somthing I am sure it will lead to a crash ** Thanks
 Kellyann 16223 points
sporty if you have to replace ESC then a bit bigger is good BUT remember bigger is heavier. Are you sure it is the ESC not battery or motor. The only way to know is to replace one or the other. ESC is cheaper than a motor. I think you have many batteries. Good luck. I hope this helps.

I have been using the Turnigy AE-45A for 6 months now and ran 2 different motors on it. I think it's the best ESC for 450, it has a wide range of programming and it is only warm after flights. Stick programming is extremely easy and the instructions are accurate. Also the soft start is so smooth!

I have to say that sporty may be right. I have had this ESC for a couple of months with no problem. However now, it seems to cut off power to the motor intermittently. Don't know if I should get another brand/model. Anyone?

Yes it was my RCX 40amp ESC starting to fail, it was just like a stutter in power! I have changed it for the Turnigy Plush 40amp, very nice unit, So I would recomend changimg the speed control before you crash, dont wait!!
 Cesar 1 points
Thanks for such a quick reply. TURNIGY TRUST 55A SBEC Brushless Speed Controller is the one that cuts off power. I wasn't sure about the brand. Thanks again. I will buy another ESC.

Created surging at full throttle, over-heated the batt, melted the ESC heat shrink and surrounding foam as well as shuddering starts no matter which way the card programmed it. After all the glowing reports here clearly I pulled a short straw ! Its got a new home now, at the bottom of the TRASH CAN !

Running this with a Turnigy L3010B-1300 Brushless Motor (420w) and Turnigy nano-tech 1300mAh 3S 45~90C Lipo Pack in my Hobbyking Yak 55 3D 1096mm EPP with excellent results.

Great ESC, reliable and no overheating problems. It is somewhat large so I wouldn't recomend for electric gliders, but should fit in just about everything else OK. Also comes with full instruction manual, though I would recomend the turnigy trust programing card.

This is a solid and reliable ESC. Using it in my HK Extra 260 balsa with NTM 3548 900kv, 12x6 props and 2200 mAh 4s. Have flown 60 flights now without any problems.
