Hey does anyone else think this is normal voltage differences? target=_blank>
charles  1 points - 12/15/2012

About the battery for the b-25, the battery that comes with the rtf fits the plane like a glove this is a perfect fit for the balance of the plane. It fits perfect in the plane. so if you buy a battery like the one shipped 3300 3s check the size and weight crefully

Hey Mark, your response does not seem to make sense. 3 cells in series is fine. But then why would you need to have one cell in parallel? What is the purpose of a parallel cell in a series wired pack?
 Jeebs 45 points
My reply was deleted or something, not sure why. Marc is correct these packs are 3 cells wired in series. think of the 1p as letting you know there are 3 cells which make up the pack. If it was a 2p lipo there would be 6 cells in all (2 cells wired in parallel which would make up each of the 3 cells wired in series).
Christopher  1 points - 12/3/2012

Thought that the 1P stood for 1 piece because if you look at the rc car racing packs the have 1P and 2P and the 2P have a disconnectable plugs.
geneb  5 points - 11/22/2012

Can someone please explain the difference between a 3S pack and a 3S1P pack?
 Noah 23 points
There is no difference. 3S1P is just a fancy way of saying 3 Cells 1 Pack. I hope that helps.

It stands for how many cells are wired in series and how many are wired in parallel. In this case, it's 3 cells in series, hence 3S.

Do these have the old Flightmax label pictured above or the new Zippy label as pictured in global warehouse?

Reason I ask is because I had warrenty trouble with HK a few weeks ago. They told me the batteries I sent pictures of were not what I bought because their add still showed the old Flightmax label but the ones they sent me have the new Zippy label.

They r the same thing. Just different pic

can someone advise if the leads are 12 or 14 gauge wire? thanks
 FMARINCOLOMBIA 1 points
are 14
 anthony 1 points
they are 12
 jeffrey 669 points
The leads are 12 Awg,not 14 Awg. The balance wire is stiff type.Hope this helps.
 Adam, 8 points
I just ordered 4 and they were 14 gauge.

Does anyone know the difference in size between these batteries and RHINO 2250 mah 25c?
 totovz 230 points
I have both in size there is no difference, except that the Rhino is about 15 grams more weight because it has some sort of protective film around the cells.

I love this battery!!! Better than their expensive counter parts!!!
 2Doggs 186 points
I have both, and the Rhinos are definitely bigger! The Zippy's are a much better fit under a 450 Pro canopy.
 Adam, 8 points
The Zippy is the lightest battery I have ever owned. It beats the equivalent Turnigy in size and weight. The Rhino is about the exact size but is a little heavier, enough that it altered my COG.

does anyone know if this has enough power for the b-25 Mitchel bomber?
 mike 6 points
this battery has alot of power but if you really need more get a nano tech
 Joe 1 points
Not sure which model your plane is, but this battery is rated to pull up to 55 amps. That's about 610 watts at 11.1V.

I have found the Balance harness rather weak and solder joints do not hold during normal handling. I have ordered several of these in the past and concern over the quality on the Balance harness? Have this issue improved?
 Gino 1 points
I too have had the same issue with the Balance harness. Have re-soldered all 4 three times. Any improvements?
 vettechjamie 3 points
It hasnt improved i have had the same issue. just recently purchased 3 and have had problems with 2 of them.

does anyone know if this has enough power for the b-25 Mitchel bomber?
 PaulGT3 20 points
I have 4 of these batteries and the last two were perfect
 MASHTON 1 points
I have not had this issue yet. I try to handle the wires as little as possible and in order to do so I have wrapped a 12 inch wire tie (zip tie) around the length of the battery and pull it out of my planes only by the tail of the wire tie. Give this a try and see if it works for you.
 mike 6 points
i think all battery s balance wires are weak so if the break just fix em!
 Parker 1 points
I just ordered 3batteries a month ago. They feel soft but i have even pulled directly on the wires to see if the would come free but they didnt. A dozen flights and going strong.
 Alexander 1 points
I have 4 of these batteries with no issues.
 James 1 points
I have 6 of these batteries and haven't had a single problem. I've used the balance tabs without a problem. I'm running them in a Miniature Aircraft pulling 40 amps. Great battery and great performance. Remember the leads are for charging and use not to be swinging them around from!! Also try holding on to the connector when unplugging and plugging in, instead of the wires!! just some food for thought.
 anthony 1 points
I take the balance wire and tape it on the battery they are not a bad quility it is just from wear and tear just like everything else that we buy from anyone and use on a regular basic
 Adam, 8 points
Get Nano-Tech for future orders. They come with silicon based wired that are worth it alone, plus they are generally better batteries. I have nano-techs on their 900 charge and these soft flexi wires are showing no signs of breaking or wearing out.
 fly master 173 points
Hi Gino. I have had the same problem with the balance charge wire where it hooks to the battery. What I have been doing is wrap tape around battery and balance wire after I re solder the white lead back on the battery. They switched to a stiff wire to save money I guess. My old ones have silicon wire on them and there is never been a problem. If this helps please give credit.

Very good Battery. All wires are soft silicon wires, including the balance connector wires. I ran 10 cycles already on them, so far no problem. A little hot after I use it on EDF with a burst current about 55 amp 600 watt. Lasted 2 minutes. Hope it will last a long time.

Good battery. Come with soft silicon wires. Ran 11 cycles already. No problem. A little hot after flying on an EDF jet. Don't know how long it will last. I already Zippy 20C battery too. The 20C could not power my 64mm EDF. But the 25c made a big difference.

I'd love to do more business with this company. If they could actually process my order and ship it. I thought I'd better try a small order first to see what the shipping time was like from the USA Warehouse. I placed the order and used PayPal to pay for the order.

My account now says the order is Pending unpaid/uncleard. It's been a couple of weeks. I even paid $11.00 extra for expidited shipping.

I've tried email and phoning customer service, all with out success. Maybe by some devine intervention I'll get my batteries someday, but I'll not hold my breath nor spend another dime with this company until I do.

Bought 3 for my PZ T-28 (Navy PNP 30am stock esc). Had to put on EC3 connectors, but no big deal. Fit well and give good performance. CG is pretty much dead on with battery forward all the way. Did need to pick up an EC3 extension because the leads don't fit where the battery slides into and the EC3 in the plane isn't very long.
Average flight includes plenty of loops, rolls, verticle climbs (to about 300'), etc and I run about 7min. Starting charged at 4.19-4.2 per cell and end with 3.88-3.9 ..not warm at all.
Getting 4 for the price of 1 'stocker' (plus shipping) = NICE! only 4 cycles each so far, but all has been great with them.
