I had this servo for about 4 months. Used it with a 6V bec and HV rx (FrSky) on my crawler (which i only used indoors till now - no competitions). All went well till the servo just stopped working. It started to make gear noises and it stopped at the end of the max right point of the servo throw. I opened it up to look inside at what made the gear noise (was thinking that i broke a titanium gear). All titanium gears were ok except the one that is mounted on the motor shaft. THAT ONE IS NORMAL BRASS!!! It had damage from the titanium one that was conected to it and all the teeth were polished off at the contact point. Disapointed that Blue Bird made such a **** mistake! Why in hell mount a brass gear on the motor shaft and make the rest from titanium?!

Do you know if the Output spline for the servo arm match's any other manufactures so that aftermarket arms can be used ?

Len posted below the "F-guy's" arms would fit. Futaba I presume. I'd like to run this www.link

What is the "frame rate" for this servo if we use a powerbox system "competition" ?

Ok guys I ordered over 6 pcs of these servos for testing purposes and to install in my planes. All 6 were tested under extreme pull stress starting from 8kg/cm to 17kg/cm at 7.4V. The servos easily reach 16.0kg/cm without any problems.
I tested electronics and all was well-made. The gears are good and smooth. Overall, the quality of these servos are Good for those who need 17kg/cm performance.

Used these servos on a 50cc yak54. They performed well but one of five servos started jittering only after 6 flights. I contacted Blue Bird Technologies Ltd. and they are going to repair the servo under warranty. If it were not for this small problem I would rate 5 crowns all around. I use other Blue Bird servos in giant scale planes and have had great success.
