The Mad Max of servos. Milled from a single block of 6061 alloy*, this servo screams "crazy tough"! The milled alloy MG959 carries as much attitude as it does torque and robustness. Why did we bother making a CNC milled 6061 alloy servo and then charge less than 25 bucks for it?... Beause we can! No amount of R/C truck bashing or plane crashes will distort this servos case. It includes accessories and has dual ball bearings and metal gearing.

answer: I have been using 4 of them for a robotics project for some 3 months now.
3 of them no problems, precise, sharp digital-style response. One developed a small play in the mechanical movement but it is not bad, it is still useable.
they consume like 4-5A at full torque, so make sure your power supply can provide that much.
i can compare them to PowerHD 6001HB and these Turnigy are much better in all aspe
1520 usec is the signal pulsewidth by servo neutral position. It's standard and You can use it like a standard servo and with the GY401. Remember to switch the DS selector (on the GY401) to "ON", to benefit from the faster framerate.
The might be a higher current draw from this servo, than from the on You use now. So take care.

Das Servo ist sehr gut! Stabiles Alugehuse und gute Hebel sowie ein Anschlusskabel mit vernnftigem Kabeldurchmesser. Das Getriebespiel ist erfreulich niedrig und die Rckstellgenauigkeit und die Geschwindigkeit sind gut.
Really (!) strong metal gear servo. Nothing to mention - just buy it.

very good-locking and solid case strong but the holding-torque isnt much higher than the travel torque... i messured blocking-amps around 2,55 A (@6,8V)... Fast enough for steering in 1:8 buggies

Just put 3 of these servos on my elq vision 50 helicopter there are great servos they are very fast and powerful I do alot of 3D flying and there are always upto the job. Im going to order 3 more for my Trex 600 they are better than my Futaba S3152 Also the build of the case is metal and to a very high standered cannot believe they on cost 13.02 a real deal if you ask me..............
