Will the recover fit in the red cat racing Calder sc10?
 Tony 51 points
Yes it will, this radio and reciever is identical to the stock redcat 2.4 ghz system. The only difference its this has hobbyking stickers instead of redcat racing stickers.
 tyler 62 points
As tony said it will fit the same. You can accualy bind this transmitter to your stock receiver and the other way around

Little issue... I did a pretty spectacular cartwheel with my 1/16 scale Rally and everthing survived except the steering servo is pinned to the right. It is something in the radio because If I turn it of I can manually move it. If I put it on the servo tester it moves fine. Is there a way to reset the center on the RX?

take a look in this video bellow.

you may need to check your servo arm , it may have moved in the cartwheel motion, can cause steering to be off, maybe helpful info?

I have one of these tx/rx systems, and it is probably the best you can buy for the money. The rx comes with the bind plug, which has a small plastic pusher on it. Simply turn it all on, set throttle to what you want the fail safe to be, and then press the small button on the receiver. The throttle will go to that setting as soon as you turn off the transmitter or it loses signal.

I purchased a Fail Safe Switch $5.00 Plugs in to throttle lead. good safe back up option to runaway from happening. The best way to keep and accident from happening battery power loss or signal. Hope this helps.

This has a failsafe built in. Just to the left of the LED on the RX is a small hole with a button inside. Turn on the system and with the throttle in the desired failsafe position, (presumably full brake for nitro models and neutral for electric models) press the button inside that hole.

Will receiver go to throttle neutral position, if transmitter signal is lost?

Key features should not safe fail safe then.

Thanks for the correct info. One of the listed reviews said it did not, that is why I asked the question.

You can't find anything else comparable online at this price - even the AM radios are more. This was exactly what I was looking for (a radio without servos since I already have a bunch). Comparable to my HiTec Aggressor.

Great 2.4 TX/RX system for the price. I used them in my Electric Boats without a single problem. And the receiver are inexpensive. That is just what I need if I sink my boat. Simple and easy to configure and use..
