Hi I bought this charger but the attachment that came with it does not fit Lipo batteries. It is marked TP/FP Adaptor. Watched the video on how to use and the attachment should take Lipo. Also tried to locate manual but so far no luck

You have to cut and solder your own connectors if it doesn't have the ones you use. I use the T-connectors simply because the first aircraft I bought had a battery with those connectors so ever since I've had to cut off the existing connector and solder my own on.

hi just wondering if there is a fix for the fault that says connection fault when trying to charge through the jst plug??
 ElectricAussie 2780 points
Hi, All of the Turnigy chargers use the same firmware for running the charger. You must connect the balance plug AND the main power lead to charge LiPo batteries, or you will get a "connection break" error. The charger uses the power lead to bring the battery up to some basic threshold level and then fine tunes/balances thru the balance plug to the full charge state. Cheers!

will this charger be ok for a turnigy nano tech5800mah 2s2p 30 60c hard case lipo packs
 iirockii 10 points
yes it well be fine. but you will want to get an lead or make one to go from a XT60 plug to what ever plug your lipo has, as it only comes with alligator clips.

Hi what would be a reccomended power supply for this charger thank you
 derfel 49 points
I would use a 12V 8A power supply, aproximately with 90-100W. You can use an spare power supply from a PC
 paulsouthport 60 points
I'm confused - if this is a 80W max charger how can it possibly charge a 6S 22.2V pack at 7A, as suggested by the photo? That would need an extra 100W !

G'day, I have a Eco 6 and use a marine battery to charge in the field and at home, a power supply connected to 240v, I'd suggest a word with your local Jaycar people. Hope that helps
 derfel 49 points
No matter what the photo says, this photo is before pressing the start button, after start charging you will notice it will charge at lower AMPS (3.8-3.6) thats what mine makes
 justice 579 points
you dont need much for that, just a 5 amp supply should be enough! remember that every landing is a controlled crash!

Hi, i use a power supply from an laptop. These powersupplies are most of the time 15v

www.link have this... works perfectly and give u a lot of power!
 leebee 11 points
I have this charger for 6s 4000mha cells, it can only charge at 3.5amps due to being only 80 watts(amps x volts = watts). Should have got a bigger charger.

Why have my coments been removed?????????????????????? Please explain HobbyKing
 mrmat01 2 points
You cant use this charger with a external power supply (A/C 240V) You can only use with a 12v car battery. Should say in description but dosnt Expensive for what it is only good for in the feild charging off your car battery (12v)

Stupid thing shows an error "connection broken" when trying to charge both new batteries.
I'd avoid this product batteries are too critical to flying to risk with a bad charger.

This is a great charger. Amazing functionality for the value. My old charger was the iMax B6AC and this leaves it in the dust. Thanks HK!!!
