I want a motor to use on 3s and the stock 30A ESC, which of the following would be best? http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=10932&Product_Name=Turnigy_2810_EDF_Outrunner_4000kv_for_55/64mm http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=10986&Product_Name=Turnigy_2615_EDF_Outrunner_4000kv_for_55/64mm This last one says it puts out 26.5A, is that ok with the 30A ESC? http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=10924&Product_Name=Turnigy_2815_EDF_Outrunner_4000kv_for_55/64mm The stock motor is an inrunner, all these are outrunners, is that a problem? What shaft do I need for the stock fan? Thanks guys! I need this info because I want to get a spare motor in case the stock one burns out too quick.

2 flights and the motor seems to be dead already :( any hints with what parts (edf motor)that do fit into the plane i should replace it would be very helpful, since this is my first edf plane and i have no idea to be honest...

My inrunner driving the impeller died in flight five, after less than 20 minutes of total runtime...
I have an other impeller that runs good, running with a 4500U/V-outrunner. Plane ist faster with this, hopefully that thing will last longer ...

Some tipps:

When going to land, do not stop the Impeller, let it run at slow speed, so the JETiger does not get nervous.
Try to pull the elevator to maximum short before the model goes to the ground, try to land with the nose a bit in the air. The model has no fuselage to land on, it lands on the wings, this is the best way to handle this.

The speed of this thing is fantastic!
I have recorded my last flight (yesterday, also available as video here) and calculated six doppler-speeds of it. The speed of this plane is averaged about 120 km/h, faster than a Multiplex Twister by 20 km/h!

The ESC is beeping like it can be programmed when connected to the power with throttle to maximum.
Any hints what controller is used and where to find a programming manual?

I have read that the JETiger reacts "funny" to a stop of the machines, perhaps a brake-programming can be better than a impeller running?

Any hints about manuals or a tip what ESC is used?

The ESC seems to be a mystery-type, although it is labeled as Hobbyking-type.

The manual http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uploads/836379618X44143X22.pdf seems to work for this ESC...

It is no problem to bring a 2200mAh-battery inside the JETiger. You just have to cut of something in the fuselage and the canopy. The battery sits just where the wires from the two servos enter the fuselage, at the front you have a "hole" of 4,5cm.
You have to open the impeller-casing by unlocking the two screws, so you can bring the ESC-wires out of the fuselage and store far in the back of the fuselage. You should do that before you add that black thing... :)
The CG is about 43cm (17 inch) from nose then. The battery is a turnigy 2200mAh 25-35C. A picture is located in the files-folder.

Any hint about the speed of this yellow thing? Above 100 km/h, above 150 km/h?

Wie schnell is er denn? ber 100 oder gar ber 150 km/h?

Danke und Gre

Greetings
