I would like to buy the ASW28 and I have few questions about it -

1. which battery should I buy for it ?
2. is it compatible for beginers ?
3. I have Spektrum DX6I and i need to buy a receiver for ASW28, which one should fit for    my transmitter ?

Thanks,
Beginner pilot.

1. 2S 1300 mAh should be sufficient - i tested mine with 2S 800 mAh 15C and it drawed 8,5 Amps. Try to get a small battery, there is not much space in the plane to place it.

2. I am a beginner too and of course i will crash it several times ;-) I was told it IS a beginner plane or can be used as beginner plane because itīs easy (and slow) to fly. Take into account that is is not designed for windy conditions (15 km/h or 3 bft is maximum I "can control" it ;-)).

3. Either a Spektrum (AR6100 are cheap atm) or the DSM2 (when in stock) also would fit. I use a DX7 with AR6100 and can fly it to line of sight without any problem - no need for AR6200 or AR7000 (not much space below the canopy).

Hope this helps ;-)
