I agree fully-totally-completely!, the same should apply to Helicopters.
The only worry is that the kit would most likely come with a very lame assembly/instruction manual written in Chinglish,  and if you were to strip the bike/heli all the way down , it might be difficult to re-assemble without a decent manual. In the case of my HK 500 GT, it's fortunate that the Align T-Rex 500 manual was only a download away.

Oh and I'm going to get one those bikes, ONE day!

The fact is not that the E-gyro is expensive, it's the bike that is indecently cheap...

My first post on here.

I have read with keen interest all the mods that have been done by people and the tips.

I got my bike yesterday.  I have the 60amp car esc, turnigy aerodrive 3650 motor (not installed yet - 5mm shaft).

I was impressed with the bike.  virtually all screws etc have been loctited.  I still stripped it all down, cleaned and re-loctited them all.

The flywheel seems well balanced and didn't need any adjustments to spin nicely and i can snug up the wheel nuts so it all holds in place.

I had to close the gap to increase spring tension for the sterring as it was way too sloppy and i couldnt control it.  I ran the bike on the bench for a bit (5 mins) to test everything out and check the chain.  chain loosened up a bit.  So far, i have probably turned the adjusting screws about 3/4 to 1 turn.  I have made a bit of a chain guide from some wire (wire coathanger), more to guide the chain and to stop the slap.

I have done about 20 minutes total running so far and am happy.  I have plans to make a wheelie bar for it

I ended up getting the 3300kv aerodrive (https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=6530), so will probably need a 10tooth pinion.  I have planned on getting an ARX chain and also some spare drive shafts.

Lexan is very tough.  As tougfh as the body work appears, I think going up in thickness slightly would be an improvement.

I do believe that HK/Quannum have been reading these posts and taking a lot of the ideas on board which is great to see :)

I plan to have fun with it :)  Get my skills up before the start of the (1:1) motocross and monster truck demos that me and a group of mates perform with our RC cars

I just re-read some of the posts...  I am also getting squeeling from the motor when you give it a burst of throttle. The squeeling doesn't happen if you feed in the power slowly.  Is this a motor issue or a speedy configuration issue?
