Everyone! The journey comes to an end now. Just sold off my HK EPO Pitts to a college lecturer! Thank you all for being with me in this adventure! Learnt alot from everyone's input and I'm grateful.

So, what now? My eyes are all over this - 1600mm EPO Pitts!

My thoughts dwell on revisiting the EPO Floater Jet or trying something new such as the 1400mm MX2 3D

Successful maiden while in Malaysia! Unfortunately I was not able to capture any video as it was an impromptu maiden.

CG @ 90% from FLE. It works well for slow flights but it pitches up straight into the sky for throttles beyond 30%.

Got hit by dengue and I spent most of my time recovering. Now I'm back home and I will be further improving the paint scheme of the Pitts and giving it a few more tweeks!

In Malaysia right now! It was such a rush that I had to bring the Pitts here for it's maiden!

With a clueless mind, Ive decided to go with this paint scheme to practice a little airbushing instead, inspired by 'Lord of the Rings'.

However, it seem to lack something...

Things does not match up between 'LOTR', 'Hazard Strips', and 'Pitts'. So, I am thinking of adding Royal Blue solids to make it a little 3D-Sporty.

Bumble Pitts!

Not the greatest masking job and I'm considering if I should touch it up with airbrush or leave it in it's imperfect nature.

This yellow and black hazard pattern will only be on the belly, it is something that ive been thinking of having for orientation purposes. I'll be doing this to my Stinger64 too!

Well, I'm still absolutely clueless on what to paint for the rest of the Pitts. Been struggling with ideas but none fit the bill. It is like one of those indecisive moments while shopping for an ideal christmas gift!

Themes among my thoughts:
  • Bumble Pitts! (With bee's wing patterns for the wings!)
  • The Black Pitts! (Themed after 'The Black Pearl' of Pirates of the Caribbean. With Jolly Rogers on the rudder!)
  • Pitts Python
  • Pitts Viper
  • Pitts Taipan!
  • Tribal (Black and White)
  • HotRod Flames!
  • Lightning!
  • Christmas Pitts!
  • Random Artsy Fartsy

Progress: Carbon Fiber implants. I had also glued down the top hatch to improve rigidty of the upper wing's strats, then sliced half of it to create a magnetic hatch for easy access to servos and RX.

The return of the HK EPO Pitts Special!

I will be leaving for Malaysia again and my goal is to complete building this by mid of december!

There will be two planes for me to decide on which to bring over for a taste of Malaysian air.

Primary : This!
Alternative : Stinger 64

I'm... baaack!

Greatest challenge - Ideas for paint scheme! I am still lost for this one!

Guess what? Sold my Pitts to a random spectator at the field. Bundled with my beloved Turnigy 9X and 3 lipo packs.

No this is not the end! I will be bringing out my very own original Pitts and apply all the knowledge I had recieved while fiddling with the spare Pitts which was given to me. It will be another interesting journey!

Used a couple of 2x60mm carbon rods and hotglued it down. It should work, felt rather rigid.
