    Posted: 14/Apr/2009 at 12:42pm
I installed a X8D module in a Futaba 7CAP transmitter.  After sorting out a few issues I was able to bind the module to a X8R7 receiver,  I plugged in the servos and everything seemed OK.  To make sure I moved the receiver away from the transmitter.  The Rx immediately began to flash red and green, and the servos quit working.  After making a number attempts to make is work  I can occasionally get the Rx to lock (green light on), but if move the receiver at all or try to plug a servo into it the RX  immediately goes back to flashing red and green.  I think I may have a defective Rx.  Anyone have any other ideas what could be going on?

Have you tried a different channel? Sometimes, from what I've heard, they can be fussy as to the channel used.
Best Regards
I can only remember half of what I say....
I used to walk on water 'til I found out it was more fun sitting in the boat drinking beer

If you mean, have I tried plugging the battery into different channels on the receiver; yes I have.  Doesn't seem to make a whole lot of difference.

sometimes with 2.4 you need to plug all the servo's in and then power up and bind the rx to the tx. i have heard of people having trouble when they have bound the rx/tx and then try to plug in servos.
