Jason probably skipped town after getting bombarded by complaints.
Not sure why HobbyKing tells people to come to the forum when the HK staff don't even post.
Hell at least xheli can manage to get a few half-wits to act like they're paying attention to their forum. Why HK can't even do that is beyond me?????
Like the "What would you like to see cloned thread" what a joke that is, if they're just gonna ignore everyone in the thread then they should at least un-sticky it so that members stop getting their hopes up that HK will clone something we ask for

It's really unfortunate that so many posters dived in with flames and complaints, ignoring Jason's initial request for hard, plain information, with all the emotion left for other posts. As I see it, he took the trouble to read the first page of posts, before things degenerated into a series of rants.
The only effect of these tirades will be to discourage Jason from asking for your feedback in future. He might as well just read thru the HK600 owners thread, where he will see the same rants and complaints. His request for pictures seems to have been ignored. Consider this - maybe Jason is not a mad keen heli flyer, and he might not be so familiar with washout pin projection etc. When you consider the number of HK products, it would be impossible for one man to know every detail of every product. |

It seems that the "What would you like to see cloned" thread had degenerated into a clone anything thread. If you paid attention to Jason's original thread he asked What Heli would you like to see cloned
...Unfortunately many people don't know how to read or don't care to read. ![]() Jason has also mentioned that he was not a heli flier and that he was just a beginner...so a detailed explanation of the problem with pictures would go a long way in helping Jason understand the problems so he can better explain it to the manufacturers.
With only 59 posts under your belt you haven't been around the forums long...but is been told many times that the HK staff/CS do not have the technical knowledge of the items that HK sells. In other words they are not into the hobby so they know nothing and refer all questions to the forum where more knowledgeable people (customers) who have the experience using these products can help. Hope this clarifys this. Wayne Edited by wchiro - 12/Dec/2010 at 4:20am |

2Doggs/Wayne...
Beat up on Nuttcaze if you feel the need too. But you really can't make excuses for HK's appalling lack of feedback and support of the HK-600 with a straight face. Both pictures and detailed descriptions have been posted about the HK-600 without the slightest acknowledgment from HK that the crowd-sourced info being posted was being routed to the manufacturer, or was being acted upon. Nor has any information about newly arrived, coming or agreed to design changes been posted here by the HK staff. You know how I find out if something on the HK-600 has been fixed yet? I buy the part or even a whole new kit and look. Why? Because that's the only way with HK and this ship. You'd think that development/improvement news about the HK-600 was a state secret or something. And Jason being/not-being a heli pilot is really immaterial. All HK's products should be reasonably functional, of decent quality and represent a good value competing for my hobby dollar. Jason's job is to make sure his customers are satisfied and he should pull in the resources needed to analyze the blog and to reach out to the five or six obvious leading problem solvers (ummm...raises hand) on these threads for more information if needed. So quit whining and start -Communicating-, or suffer the fate of all bad businessmen....poverty. Alan |

Sorry for being my first post on this forum because I was a passive reader of this. but this thread merit.
HK never respond to Backorder issues (never pickup a live chat with "backorder" topic screen) and with this heli is deeper problem, never inform to fix the kit problems (know for all) and donīt fix them, they still send bad and broken components in package. (common issue showed on many forums) I don`t tell the HK600 is a bad helicopter (I was one in backorder right now) but the lack of info in all matters turn my in a annoying situation. and agreed with rotorgraphics all the admin forums are responsible for all mather of HK, liked or not. the info part of stock arrival say: Stock updated frequently. good will be available withn 30 days 15/12/2010 <----- this change with present day (fake arrival day) Stock available and arriving from the back-warehouse within 3~4 days. I made the purchase on 12/10/2010 because I trust on red text .for add log to fire. best regards. Edited by pfresard - 15/Dec/2010 at 9:11pm |

You dont have to be sorry for that this is your first post. On the HK Live chat "back order" problem you address, i cant figure out why you got a problem, i have never gotten any problems canceling an item or 2 that was in back order. On the HK-600 addressed problems, I'm pretty sure that it is being looked into. and that the fault in manufacturing are going to be improved, incl the HK-700 (or what it will be named). -could the reason for delays (back order status) be that is being adressed already ? (just thinking out loud). And sure I'm waiting for that size (HK-600) too, to be as good as my HK-450. I'm not being hold responsible for telling Jason whats going on, I'm i ?. ps: if you really can't get hold of CS via HK chat, try to post in the Order Support, forum part -remember to read how to post. -Troels |

It takes a couple of years to iron out faults in heli models. The 450 forums are almost dead - now that most of the issues have been fixed. The same problems are now simply transferred into the 500 and 600 production line until the factories catch up with the issues. HK don't make the things. They sell boxes of planes & helis. A factory that has more demand for their product than they can produce in the forseeable future is not going to stop everything and re-tool just because an occasional plastic belt drive gear on a tail rotor shaft explodes during use.

So long as you buy with your eyes open and remember it is a KIT, check everthing for tightness/ locktite, and alighnment, download the manual and when you have done all that check again. If you already have a500 then you know what to look for . Never forget its GOOd value fom HK , it wont last forever . Happy daze. Rob
