I just got my Turnigy 420 charger, hooked it up to a 12v car battery charger for a power source and it doesn't seem to be working correctly. The third cell LED light doesn't light up, but the others light up green. When I plug in my 7.4v 5000mah battery into the slot on the right the second cell LED light turns red. When I plug the battery into the slot on the left the fourth cell LED light turns red. The % display doesn't work at all. The charger didn't come with a manual or anything so I'm at a loss. Whats going on here?

a simple car battery charger may output way too high voltage if you don't have a battery connected to it.

I used a laptop ac/dc adapter.  If your lucky enough to have an extra laying around the house that has the output specs that is within the charger specs or you can buy one from HK (Hobby King AC/DC Adapter)
