Can someone tell me which Inrunner and which ESC also what size Lipo pack would best suite the Hayoe 5 inch fan and will I need a programmer for the ESC ? Is there anything else that I might need ? Oh and which charger for the Lipo's ?. I need as much thrust as possible from my two 5 inch Hayoe fans. I have decided to go with electric Inrunners instead of the 40 cc two stroke I started with. Thanks   FINETUNE

I am building a 6.5 ft x 4 ft carbon fiber F117 and adding canards to the nose area for better lift. I chose this jet because all surfaces are flat. I have everything I need but the two power sources.      FINETUNE

Hi,FINE,It looks like your plan to run 2 fan units with 40cc fuel engine did not work,I suspect you ran into the same problem i had with a scale model Shinden which had a long shaft to keep cg in correct position driven from motor to shaft by a belt,it just got too comlicated.I have found as many others have that HK 5inch fan draws too much power ,I have modified them by reducing the blade area to lower high current. Some modellers have used Scorpion motors on these fans in the 600 to 700 kv range whith some success. The HK 4.5 inch fan can be tamed whith cheaper inrunner motors From HK .hope this helps regards Ken Jack

Hi Fine, i'm using (2) 5" Hoaye setups in a 27lb A-10 and i'm getting about 23lbs of thrust in total wiht both fans pulling about 90 amps/fan. I'm using Scorpion HK 4035-630 KV motors and (2) Flightmax 5S 5000mah 30C lipos in Series giving me 10S to each fan 20 cells in total. I had the fans beefed up and balanced by Electric Jet Factory and they are running perfect and sounds awesome. I'm  also using the Turnigy 100A HV ESC as well that works fine with no problem. Hope this helps...Good Luck!

Ha Jetfan20 How are you connecting your speed controllers up to your Lipos. From what I can see you are connecting 2 -5s Lipos in a series to one  speed controller and it to 1 Scorpion motor and the same thing on the other side of your plane using #4- 5s Lipo packs. Is this correct?       FINE

Hi Fine, You are correct with my setup's. It's an awesome match. I also just purchased a Ramtec conversion with the bigscreamer motor and this is a nice setup as well on 10S setup. I connect my Lipos to my ESC using 5.5mm bullets they can handle more continuios amps than deans.
