Here's my Lubach F-16.  It's a handmade model, fully made from epoxy-fibreglass by Peter Lubach (The Netherlands).  It is painted to resemble the 50th anniversary scheme of the 349th squadron of the Belgian Airforce. (http://www.baha.be/Webpages/Navigator/Photos/MilltaryPics/Markings/f16_demos/f16a_fa25_50years_349squadron.htm  )

In the video I fly half throttle at most and usually 1/3rd throttle.  Full throttle this little guy outruns a het-rc sniper (4S 2W-20) and a F5D limited pylonracer.   The sniper was downed btw (due to radio failure, but spectators came looking if I still had both missiles after landing LOL )

Setup :
Het-rc 7203 fan + Het-rc 2W-25 motor (threw its magnets and is now broken)
Corona RS610 receiver
6S (2x3S) Zippy-ec 2500Mah lipo's 20-30C

Feel free to also post your F-16 and setup (video is much appreciated too) in this topic !!

Nice f-16 and photos.  Is the Lubach as light as the old Jepe composite?

If I ever get a video I'll post my f-16 #2.  It's much prettier then my first one Big smile

The old Jepe F-16 was for a 90mm fan, the Lubach is smaller and for 70mm fan. Weight of the empty plane is about 400g.
I think the speed of the Lubach will be close to the Jepe.

I got the 7203 fan second hand (but new in the bag). I can't find it anywhere for sale anymore. I guess HET-RC stopped producing it. It's all 6904 fan now.

The magnets in the 2W-25 motor came loose btw. After about 20 flights. So now it's back to the good old 6904 fan with 2W20 motor. A bit slower, but longer flighttimes and hopefully a longer life.

After a bad bungee launch with crosswind the nose got broken, but I fixed it again.
The 2W-25 motor also threw it's magnets, so now the F-16 is powered by a 2W-20 on 4S 3700 Rhino lipo. Slightly less speed, but longer flighttimes.

Wow that F-16 looks so good! Nice job fixing the nose, you can't even tell that it's been broken
