@ answerparamotor.
Brake lines sould be carried at the same spread as your bridles...ALWAYS!!!
If you carry them to the bridle tie points then inwards to meet your servos this is Ok.

@ Skywalker.
Mostly correct but the HK foil flies great as a gliderThumbs Up I have many fun flights lasting over one hour each but vids were corrupted. There are more vids of it here as well. this one from the products page. (Not Mine)

Thats the ugliest hat Ive ever seen...looks good on you though.

@Beladog
Interesting... were you ridge soaring or thermaling to achieve that kind of flight time?  Also, were you using the same weight range and angle-of-attack as a powered model?

Edit: Arrived today.  I'm really impressed with the quality, especially the cross-ports in the ribs.  Material looks like good rip-stop, stitching is good, shape looks good.  Only 75" wide (1.9 meters), that's about 9.5 inches short of the advertised 2.15 m.

I guess I go a little lighter on the gondola.

I have made an important edit (see here).
In my fumbling I reversed the order of the description of
bridle adjustment in the AOA video. The video is correct
but the description reversed the order of the bridles
being adjusted. I apologize for the confusion and any
pain this has caused.Confused
I will be more careful in the future.Embarrassed

Thanks. The original description reversed the order so many were confused.
No harm done as the foil would not even come close to flying if done like I described. luckily I think most just watched the videoLOL I'm working on some new videos to come soon.

Hi,

I've build a powered setup for the HK paraglider, but a pilot in a seat with the motor mounted on the back.

I used the motor recommended on this forum and changed the angle of attack as described. I want to know whether it is necessary to build in a thrust angle on the motor mount or not? The test that I've done I get good flight of a hilltop but trying to hand launch it with power on it goes into a violent torque twist to the left collapsing the foil and ending in a crash. I've tested it at half throttle with same results. I'm running a 3 bladed 9x6 prop on the motor and the weight is also withing the range of the trike setup discussed here.

Thanks any advice or help will be appreciated

Loose the three blade!!!!
NEVER NEVER NEVER a three bladeSmile
Three blade is only good to simulate a much larger prop when only a small prop can be used.
Which motor did you get?
Try to spin in the 10" prop range with a standard two blade. Either SF or E.
If you use a three blade 9" it will make waaaay to much torque for a paramotor.
Keep posted pleaseThumbs Up
