Let me introduce my latest scratchbuilt model aircraft. I already
posted this on other forums from beginning and decided to do it here
also, since all the hardware and electronics are puchased here at
HobbyKing
![]() It is a trainer with 150 cm wing span and I did it from ground up, based on a proven trainer design. Few sketches first and then 3d modeling on a computer. After I had the construction with all the solutions in 3d, I simply took all the necessary parts out, made a g-code and cut out the parts on my home built CNC router. Step in design phase... ![]() My CNC router... Wing ribs... Fuselage parts... |

Here I did some 3d model texturing to design a paint scheme... nothing fancy, since I dont want to spend too much time cutting out covering film

Very nice Mitja!!!!
Very happy as well that there are still real modelers around, I enjoy just as much building the plane as flying it. In fact it gives this little bit more if you have built your own plane and it flies.
(I am not quite in to the EPP/Foam stuff either...to much toy factor for me, proberly 98% will disagree on me...)
