HK401B IN MY HK250...

Mounts upside down under the little mounting plate at the back.

When this plate is set to the lower position DSM2 receivers like the AR6100e and AR6110e fit nicely on top of this plate.

I will do a build thread on a 250 soon, showing setup of the electronics, and a few tips on building to make things go together easier than what the manuals say.

When you move the rudder stick to the left, the tail pitch slider should move to the right.

Conversely, with right rudder the pitch slider should move to the left when viewed from behind.

After this is done, hold the heli and rotate it gently clockwise from above, and the pitch slider should move to the right, because of the gyro.

If this is the wrong way for you. then reverse the gyro direction, its a little switch on the gyro

Also make sure you have standard or digital servo in the correct position for your tail servo.

Gain on a rex 250 with a GY401 in my DX7 is happy at about 35%. Its a surprisingly low number, however this seems to be what everybody is running their gain at.

Most other helis, are around the 70-80% mark.

What can I say Jay, I have five helis, a counter rotator, and something like 10 planes.

However my heart always stays with helis.

250's are a great little heli, no shortage of power, extremely fast cyclic response, small so you can fly it anywhere without the cops giving you fines. Their a little beast.

As soon as I get some servos, probably HXT900's and a little motor I will build this HK-T250 kit I have here as a build thread, similar to the one which is still being totally uploaded to YouTube, and post a 250 Build thread.

My goal is that questions like this. Which usually are just needing the reversing of gyro direction, if they watch these videos, which I have taken slow, and show the setup of everything Including the Tx, while building theirs, they will have a heli that will fly straight away without any issues.
