Hi,
just a note: Many chargers need a little more voltage to give their maximum rated power! About 13,8V to 14,5V would be best. - Oliver |

once i actually see the charger shipping, then i'll worry about a PSU... this thing was "to be released" in November...
my intentions are to convert a PC or server PSU to power this beast. Edited by T3rry - 17/Mar/2010 at 10:29pm |

FWIW, the Boeing 787 was originally scheduled to enter service in may 2008, now it is "planned" for the end of 2010.
Now offcourse you can't compare a multi$$$ airplane with a charger, but you can come up against several problems during your initial production phase and it is normal that you have delays on the release date.

this charge is delayed 6 months massive jumbo jet is delayed 2 years, so you're sying a jumbo jet is only 4 times the complexity of a RC charger?
seriously? that's not comparing apple to oranges, that's comparing a mouse to a planet. |

Nope. All Sally was saying was that there can be several problems involved before production release. Doesn't make any difference whether it's something you can hold in your hand or something you ride in. Including Toyotas (still problems several years after release)..

Will Turnigy ever publish a datasheet and/or user manual for the 4 by 100watt charger? I would like to have access to them before I buy one to verify that is the charger I want to get?

If you want to read the manual before you buy your most likely option will be that you will have to wait until someone buys one and posts the instruction manual, depending on their location and shipping methods you might have to wait 2+ weeks before you decide if you are gonna by, and if stock levels of this charger are like most of their products it will be out of stock by then...
who knows
