	You need a lot of Amps for that beast. :) Since 150A is suitable for 1/8 monster truck, I would say you need 250 Amp or more. I'm sorry to say I don't know of any such systems. You could also look into twin motors. A pair of 150Amp ESC such as the one Hobbyking offers should do the trick. For example Traxxas E-maxx uses two motors, you could possibly get a motor mount from that and adapt to suit your buggy. Regrettably, Hobbying does not seem to have any high power Brushless motors at the moment. Iv'e tried finding something good for my E-maxx, but have not found. For batteries you should get Lipo, there's no point in anything else today. For your size I would get a set of 8 cheap turnigy packs and connect them in parallell pairs of two, that way getting 4S packs. Also, a Hobbyking Quattro Charger would be the optimal charging device. To be honest, a machine this big might be best served by a gas engine, but I respect that you want to go electric, I would also prefer that even though it might get more expensive. /Magnus, Sweden

	You can go electric, there are some companies now even making 1/5 scale electrics, they are using a 150a controller on 6s lipo which is plenty. If you do use that ESC, I would think the only thing that would be an issue is having a way to keep it cool. What is the strongest gasoline engine that could fit into one of those things? (I have a Carson Attack and an HPI Baja 5B) If I recall correctly, oneill brothers racing has the most powerful zenoah based engine at around 11 or 13hp or something like that. Well, at 12S lipo, the Voltage would be 44.4V and at 200A (which isn't even burst, burst is 230A) the wattage that the ESC can handle is 8880watts Continuous. That's 11.9 horsepower. At the burst or surge rate of 230A, the ESC can handle 10212watts, that is equal to 13.69HP. Both of those figures are at 100% efficiency, and that's just the ESC, i'm not sure about the motors, but I know there are batteries now that can handle that. Most brushless motors and speed controllers now operate at about 90% efficiency, so the max continuous HP you would have would be 10.71hp, or for the burst it would come out to 12.32hp. I don't know about you, but that's plenty of power for me considering I have broken many, many, many drivetrain components at my stock ~2hp zenoah. There is also a company called Engage RC that sells the engine bracket and everything, but hopefully hobbyking will get something comparable, I like ordering from them, they are quick, ordering is simple, and the stuff is cheap.
