I installed a 9channel mini series rx in my raptor nitro.
So i need 9 channels as it has governor and remote gain on the 401. setup: ff9 with assan modules and white mini series 9ch (not for sale anymore with HK) futaba 401gyro with 9253, os hyper It is impossible to get the tail NOT SWAGGING. i tried 20% 30 40 50 60 70 80 90 even 100% gain. it gives a differences but never a stable tail. Is it possible that this rx is incompatible with the 401 or the 9253? Edited by ketnet - 29/Dec/2009 at 4:29am |

Below is from the Assan Website. The 9Ch Futaba Tx's only output 9 channels on PCM mode, but the modulation for the Assan Module only works on PPM, so you will only get 8 Ch if you are using Futaba 9 or 10 Ch Tx. If you are using a 12 or 14 ch Tx, then it should work.
Good luck. Curtis 1. X8R9/X8R10 receiver will output corresponding signal in CH 9,CH 10 only when working with transmitter that comes with 9-10 channel under PPM mode(such as JR 9XII transmitter, that with 9chs in PPM mode). That means for transmitter without 9-10 channels under PPM mode(such as Futaba style transmitter, which have 8chs max at PPM mode), X8R9/X8R10 receiver's CH9, CH10 will not deliver. My tx is a 9channel FF9.
I know about the 9 channels. Thing is: channel 9 is for battery... all of the others are standard used channels as they should be used. I tried playing with the delay but no result. Tail still wagging and it used to be tight with RDP149 rx... |

btw, this was fixed a long time ago!
it seems it were the bearings in the tail grips that were broken, so there was too much friction to be pushed so each time the servo pushed it over did it. 401 works perfectly with assan. |
