Yes I have an order on backorder as well waiting on the eagle eyes.

Not that its any consolation Eagle Eyes have been on backorder on many etailers as confirmed also by Bill Park (CEO/Product Manager) from Eagle Tree Systems.

They are in-stock and ready to ship at a major web retailer based in Champaign, Illinois.  Yes, it's pricer than the listed price at HK, but it's available now.

The EE back-order fiasco sounds a lot like those Ino-Lab servos that got blown out at $14.99 a piece.  After about 8 months of back-order, HK quietly de-listed the item and refunded the money from the backorders.

At this point, I'd be surprised if the EE ever shows up.

Bill Parry (ET) stated that the EE shipment to HK was supposed to be sent within the week maybe last week. It might still be in transit. The current backorder count for EE is just over 100 units.

A tripod and patch are waiting for my eagle eyes but what if the units are not enough for the backorder? It's so possible.

I also saw two weeks ago that items would be sent in the previous week.

Re EagleEyes stock, we now have a surplus of EagleEyes (can it be true!?!?) so dealers with orders should have received, or will shortly be receiving, inventory.
