I would like to see Hobbycity start selling the EP DG1000 glider with the retractable launching system (RLS) by ST-Models. This is the same company that manufactures the EP ASW28 PnP that Hobbycity carries. It currently is only sold in Europe and Australia but I think substantial savings could be passed onto customers if HC began supplying it.
Considering the success of ASW28 at Hobbycity I think this Glider would garner alot of interest with electric sailplane enthusiasts because of it's unique launching system. The propeller is situated behind the cockpit much like a powerpod but retracts and hides inside the fuselage when not in use. It's also modeled after the real-life counterpart. Follow the link to check it out. |

I have one but if HK stocked them would buy another. A bit of advice to all who buy one, take the prop off before you start to set up the mixer and your Tx.
