Hello all,
I recenlty purchased a HK-450 kit but the KD KA450-H 3200kv motor that was reccomended to me is out of stock.....should i just wait for it to in stock or is there a suitable, no hassell, alternative that i could get in order to get my kit out to me?

Out of that selection, I would choose the Turnigy 2836 Brushless 450-Size Heli Motor 3700kv. It is about the best if you are planning on using 3S only, however, it is a bit more of an amp hog than the KA450H 3200KV so I would use a 30 amp ESC on that one. Depending on what head speed you want, you'll also need a different pinion to the KA450H, 11T will give you about 2700rpm full throttle and a 12T around 2900 rpm.
The KD KA400H in my opinion is too small, it will bog badly. |

I am running the Turnigy 2836 with a Turnigy plush 30 amp esc on my hk450.
Lot of vibration from that motor, anyone experience vibration with this motor. I have isolate it to the motor. |

your motor could have run out one of its two bearings.

have a look of the magnets inside are evenly attached. Not Turnigy, but I have had experience with loose magnets in the motor causing vibration. |
