Hello,
I am trying to flash my Turnigy TY-P1 25Amps ESCS. But i couldn't identify the programming pads on the ESCs. Reset, +5V, GND, SCK, MISO, and MOSI. I see six pads on the left side on the ESC (Four on bottom left and 2 on the top left). Is it possible for someone to label them for me on the attached picture below? It would be so much helpful. There's a data sheet on the Atme processor (with pin outs labelled) here and three are clearly labelled
You'll need to check for continuity to identify where VCC and ground are The pad on the bottom left could be CLK (clock) as it looks like a crystal oscillator setup there Edited by Daithi - 01/Sep/2012 at 2:29am |

Thanks for your help. I looked at the data sheet and i labelled the ESCs with the programming pads(/may be i tried). Can you please let me know if they are correctly labelled or not? Thank you so much for all your help.

I honestly don't know - the only way to find if the last pad is VCC is to check it (either by the voltage on it or a resistance check to the VCC pin on the chip)
The remaining pads are visibly connected to the appropriate pins on the chip, but with the double sided board, it's impossible to see where the supply rail goes to. The 5501A could be a regulator but there are a lot of ICs with that number (what they are depends on the first letters). In this case it probably is, but a voltage check on the pad will confirm that |
