I got the Bixler with the 2620-1900Kv Brushless Outrunner, which according to my googling efforts has 12 poles.
The AE-30A ESC manual says "Supported Motor speed (maximum)L 190000rpm (2 poles), 63000rpm (6 poles) 34000rpm (14 poles)" I don't know whether to choose medium or high timing... i would like the esc to run as efficiently and cool as possible, so would i choose medium? does high mean the motor will have more power but will run hotter? Thanks. |

set it to high, with that many poles it will not change much from low~high.more than likely it is a 12 leg stator and 14 pole motor the poles are the # of magnets a motor has not wire wrap poles of stator.
