Anybody ever tried this? - it seems an easy way to install a lift fan, but not sure that thrust from fan unit will translate into cubic feet per minute to fill the hovercraft skirt. RWA By the way I have already posted this in planes/EDF but I think it might be better placed here |

Thanks for that info - I am intending to scratch build a larger 30" x 15" hovercraft but the hoverjet page seems to give quite a lot of relevant information on fan sizes, motor kv and power requirements etc. I notice too, from the comments that one or two people have fitted helicopter gyros to tame the yaw control. I would like to see the results of ur scratch build Hovercraft. The retail ones dont go over water and are pretty small so please keep us posted
