I need to have a rethink of how I store the models as I've run out of room. After further tidying I've probably got room for two more small petrols.

I think i need to somehow make the building board (a fire door on top of an old school desk) movable, so am thinking some castors welded to the legs is probably a good idea. I'm certainly open to suggestions though.

I have a Mitsubishi Delica full of old airframes and projects destined for the tip!

Clearout #2 took place yesterday after work and now it's looking pretty good, I think:

that is, until you look at the other side of the garage:

3 meters of workbench & I can't see it!

Clearout #3 will take place soon & hopefully it'll start looking a bit tidier....

Never!!!!

But having the foster kids means I never get time to fly nowadays, let alone build. Foamies enable me to get a quick fix every now and then.

Right then- thread resurrection time!

I've just found out that we're moving house in May. The house we're moving to has a couple of brick outbuildings, about 8'x8' and 10'x8', and a sturdy wooden shed about 8'x8'. We'll also be boarding out the loft as a priority to store models that are in long term storage.

So what I need from you guys is ideas to save space. This time around the two brick outbuildings will be exclusively for modelling and will not have to share space with my mechanic's tools and the fridge freezer etc.

I'll be bringing the racking with me that the models alreadt sit on and will need to have the building bench in there too. Hopefully the lack of space will force me to be tidier!

So, bring it on- all ideas welcome! I'm dreading the move but am really looking forward to have space dedicated to my aero modelling rather than having to share it.

Impossible to save space. As soon as some appears, I guarantee something arrives in the post to fill it up again. And that is all good! Lol!
I have some helicopters. I crash less than I used to. I now have some fixed wing aircraft. I now crash a little more again! I also have Internet Explorer and can actually edit my signature ...

I don't have a problem keeping things (fairly) tidy. It's finding them again when I need them...
