Got this small bolt and got it all hooked up working ok, the only issue is i have to hold reverse when i want the motor not to spin. If i let it in neutral it goes pretty fast. its a 50/50 radio so it could have reverse on it. how do i fix this issue?

Hi stealth131,
might be a problem with the ESC. In most cases ESC for airplanes can not be programmed for forward-reverse. Which ESC do you use? Maybe it can be configured for forward-brake-reverse or forward-reverse. If not -> buy a boat ESC. |

You would have to check the ESC manual,I know the plush and hobby king ones can be set this way.It is easy with a servo checker to do it.If the one you have has throttle seting your may also.You will not have REV
but will run from 50%=0 speed to 100%=100% speed. There are boat ESC that have REV biult in them. Edited by airwave - 11/Aug/2012 at 5:25am |
