The motor is an xcelent choice and the red brick is up to the job as long as u ensure good solder joins u will have no probs. use a high c rate 4cell and u will have a very fast jet.. ps i am assuming u r able to fly prop planes ok as edf jets get less responsive the slower u fly so landing takes a long setup and u want to have a correct approach right before u drop the speed HTH

HobbyKing ESC Programming Card.

HobbyKing 50A ESC 4A UBEC.

would be my choice
i have had a bad birdie and a bad 120a red brick. see my post in the birdie section.. i didnt post re the red brick because of HK's "if it is burnt out it is never covered by warranty policy"

IMO the birdie was not 60A as stated as it burnt out at 42A. I tested with hk wattmeter while held in hand at 42A b4 leaving home then same setup same lipo on the same charge it burnt out after 2 mins flying

HTH
