Why doesn't HobbyKing sell 1.2 - 1.3 GHz FPV gear? I would love a complete system (vtx, vrx, camera) on that frequency. I need a cheaper place to buy that kind of gear.

- 100, 200, 500, 800, 1000, 1500 mW power available
- PAL, NTSC
- Various Channels

Support?

Fancy meeting you here!!! I'm pretty sure 1.2Ghz isn't legal in the biggest FPV market: the US.

I know some unnamed people think this is the only frequency to bother with, but it's just not true...

PS I got the 900Mhz 520TVL system and it's really quite good. On 910 I get no harmonics with the 2.4 control, even without a low pass filter.

I know, I've heard a lot of good things about that frequency - except it works on the same frequency as cellphones work on the same frequency here.

5.8 is the only other frequency that would work for me, but the 1.2 - being a lower frequency - has more range with less power, and also more penetration (e.g. to fly behind trees).

Cell phones (or mobiles as we call them) also work off 900-960Mhz band here in Aus. I've got mine programmed for 910Mhz and I don't get any interference from my phone operating right next to both the tx and rx.

Also, the two higher frequency channels on this system are outside the cell phone operating frequency.
