ESC boat 60a

I bought a Hobbywing SeaKing 60a water cooled ESC and I soider the pos and neg terminal backwards. I plugged it in and sparks everywhere. The ESC was very hot and the 11.1v lipo 2200mah battery really hot. This was the first time I plugged it in. Do You all think that I fried the ESC?
