" I did follow the advice of having the holes of the aileron horns match with the hinge lines. Maybe it's just a bad camera angle. "
My apologies, you're probably right about that. In the pic it looks like the one to the right (left aeleron) is way further back but now that I look closer at the one on the left (right aeleron) it does look about right. Very odd .
"" And I was actually thinking that my elevons didn't have enough throw. The elevons move about 1.5 cm up/down, so is that plenty? "" " 1.5 cm up/down " I'm a bit surprised at that. It looks like you've gone from the top hole on the servo arm to the bottom hole on the control horn which usualy I would have expected you to have been able to swing those aelerons up to nearly 90 degrees from. 1.5 cm actualy sounds fairly reasonable to me. "" I know it looks like it's seriously nose heavy but it's not. When I hold it up from it's CG the nose slightly dips down which is good as I am told. "" Apologies again. Ignore what I said. I was going by looking at just the actual delta part of the wing. With something like that I guess pretty much all of the horizontal surface is acting as wing area and you may be absolutely right, I realy should have shut up on that one. You can tell I've got pretty much zero experience with those flat profile planes .
THESE wing skids stuck on right beside or if possible just in front of the servo arm can save you a bit of grief. I use them quite a lot. I will agree with Sooty that it's looking pretty good for the most part .

I'm never wrong, once I thought I was but I was mistaken. |
