Hi there! I'm relatively new to the world of RC and can't figure out how to do what I want to do with my tranceiver pair.

I have a HK-T6A V2 and matching receiver (HK-TR6A V2) that I use to control my R/C lawnmower. I'm adding an arduino into the mix as a safety controller and need some help setting up the transmitter so I can do what I want via the arduino. I have figured out forward, backward and steering; I've been using the mower for a while now. The switches are what's making me scratch my head at the moment.

I want each switch to make its corresponding channel go to a specific level (min, max, doesn't matter, I can sample it and execute code on the arduino). One of them I want to be a remote kill switch, and I haven't decided what to do with the other yet, but I'm sure I'll think of something.

I've poked around the t6config software (I have it installed and working. If you didn't know, make sure to connect the cable to a hub) as well as the DigitalRadio software and from what I can tell, either the software or the hardware was not meant to do something like this. There seems to be lots of control and lots of options, but under the presumption that it's going towards a helicopter or maybe an airplane. I'm not clear if there is a software (t6config or DigitalRadio) limitation, or if the hardware just wasn't designed to do this.

Can the software/hardware do what I want?
If so, how can I make it so?

Alternatively, can I just create a file and tell either software to load it, thereby bypassing any configuration limitations of the software?

Not sure if I was clear or not, I would like to find a way to have the switches set their corresponding channel to a specific value (ie minimum or maximum) so the arduino can evaluate that value and make a decision.

I'm sorry but the switches in the HK-T6A as it come out of the factory are just to:
- disable throttle (switch 1).
- reduce sensitivity of pitch and roll channel (switch 2).

You have six channels so use the trimmers in channel 5 and 6 for do that.

Maybe you can change it by programming the transmitter with a PC but I'm not sure.

Or do like I did: open the transmitter and rewire it so that switch 2 chose between 2 predefined positions or channel 6.
