buggy and sct mods/upgrades

bump

hi guys new here but not new to rc. i own a 1/16 buggy and waitin delivery of a 1/16 sct within the next 3 days. sofar the buggy is completely stock apart from some vinyl on the shell and spoiler, the tilted spur fix and some nitro fuel line on the front shocks. i would upload pics of the shell to show you but for somereason i cant log into photobucket. ive been lookin at mods and upgrades but get really confused by what goes with what. i would like some better lookin wheels and grippier tyres for both offroad and onroad (a seperate set for each obviously) im not botherin with the turnigy esc because its not programmable, although there really is nothing wrong with the esc and power from it is tbf more than adequate but i just want to have a play and see what the motor and buggy can do so i will be droppin an ezrun 25A esc in. i know what servo i want but am waiting to see if its stocked in the uk warehouse, if it will be then i'll be orderin 1 for the sct too.

sct wise the first thing i will be doin is chekin the spur gear and upgrading the shocks to oil filled asap. but what are the options for upgrades from other models? some links to give me a rough idea on price, looks and where to get from etc would be great so i can go from there. i know theres things like the mini inferno diffs and shocks but i just cant find any since i dont know exactly what im lookin for.
i dont want to go all out mad and upgrade every little thing because thats not why i got them, basicly i dont want any poser mods if that makes sense
