what other batterys can i use for my Turnigy 1/16 short course truck? like if i look on ebay. and whats a better battery?

Check the physical size against the space available and go for the one that suits you (running time, etc)

im know. im looking on ebay. right now. but i didnt know if anyone else knew exactly a better battery that fits. because this POS Turnigy 1.7 battery i bought when i bought the Turnigy 1/16 sct was used like 3 times before the battery puffed out and stoppped working. my charger wont even reconize the cells. i proberaly discharged slowly and charged slowly. and balanced and still only worked like 3 times..    any better brands? or links to GOOD batteries? this truck has been nothing but trouble even since i bought it

It sounds like you've overdischarged it. LiPos realy don't like that.
Sometimes people do get dud batteries but the percentage of that happening is very low. They also carry a few different brands here at cheaper prices than I think you"ll find on fleabay.




I'm never wrong, once I thought I was but I was mistaken.
