One of our pilots put his F18 nose in at the beach today...

The foam debris was about a 20 meter radius..
He had a HK wing cam facing foward. It was still recording when we found it but the actual optics was forced out of its plug and ejected out of the heat shrink cover..Found the optics..Haven seen the vid yet..The crash pic is a still shot from my HD wing cam video footage..

What a day...We had 6 foamie planes and 1 balsa. 5 foamie crashed.
The same pilot who crashed the F18 crashed his Dynam hawk on take offthis plane is so tail heavy now from all the nose crashes its about 5omm short.
I crash landed my HK 310 1st flight after cartwheeling..Rep I checked the radio and controlls, but not the direction..Ailerons reversed..Landed her in the bush while I got her leveled..Prop and UC. flew later but was way out of trim.
The dog balls cameraman had a glitch with his Spectrum and crashed the HK Xtra 260. #1 son was 3d-ing his F4U untill the motor mount (stick Type) broke off. Being over proped and over powered the fuse was sliced mid section, main wing cut off at root and the horiz stab cut off as well...Wires torn out of the motor..He was up high and was a good sight of a plane self destructing with a foam shower...
And My maiden flight of the BearCat (naked Rare Bear)I made a dolly for ROG but it kept going left untill I shattered a prop..Did a hand launch and OMFG the torque roll at WOT.This bird was going out of sight at 1/2 power. I had to fight her all the way as she wanted to roll all the time. When she was on her side you cant see it..Any way I lost my orientation at a distance and found it just before she hit the deck I saw the red wing but was too low...Bent the wing and pushed the motor mount..As for the balsa plane she was the only one that had no problems..Flying in the late arvo is harder than in the morning we find Dont know why..
So who else crashed??
