It is .25" more pitch speed than the one you suggested, so the plane should still be plenty fast.

If i was to use a 4s with a 5x5 prop would i be pushing it using the motor and ESC i listed?

Using a battery of a higher "C" raiting will have lower voltage sag when used hard, so the voltage will stay higher for longer.

I used a Turnigy Typhoon 450H 2215H Heli Motor 3550kv and a 5x4 prop on a eurofighter and it lasted about 6 flights before burning out the windings, so I rewound it with a thicker wire and higher KV. After launching it WOT it screeeeeeemed for 10 seconds before letting out the magic white smoke form the ESC...LOL... it was good fun while it lasted :D

Run it on 4S and it will get even hotter.

C rating is the 'burst' capacity (it can handle 20 times the current for a very short burst) 'S' is the number of cells (and each cell is about 3.5 volts)
I don't care what it says on the profile - I'm so NOT GB!

I placed a RCtimer 400size heli motor on my skyfun and I'm using a 2200mah 20c 3s battery.. The motor is only rated for 3s batteries, Because i don't know much about C ratings if i place a nano-tech 45-90c would it make the plane faster?

I am using a 5x5 prop as a 6x4 prop makes the motor really hot :( 5x5 seems to be its sweet spot

If you were looking for more speed i would try the 6x5.5 apc,the amps will be the part that makes heat.I take the watt rating on motors with a grain of salt.480 watts may be max but for how long and what kind of cooling??a lot of times the wire will be fine but the type magnets that are used the heat can damage and can not be fixed.if they get to hot they get weaker.

For a 4 cell it shows 38.4 amp and a output of 425 watt with a 6x3 master airscew.
With the 3 cell and a 6x5.5 apc, 37.2 amp and a output of 291 watt.
Nice little freeware not every prop and motor is in there but
a good base for searching and testimg.

thats very good, you could even look at a prop that would load it a bit more.
maybe a 6x5 or APC 6x5.5 E as the planes speed increase the wats will come down. That must be what the programe you have shows??

what does it say for 14.4 volts(4 cell) are you up over the 425~450 watt mark??
that would put your amps ~ 31

No the ESC is fine. The 6x4 would be close on 3 cell.you would smoke the motor before the esc gave in.480 watts would be ~40 amps so you would have 10 or so to spare on the ESC.
