We ordered the: Centurion Mini Brushless Catamaran Boat
We're having problems with the ESC. The ESC beeps constantly. Beep, beep, beep... no breaks.
It will not enter program mode.
I've tried with the throttle all the way up, connecting the ESC.
Tried with the throttle all the way down, connecting the ESC.

Anyone got any ideas here? Stuff to try?

I tried HobbyKing support, they asked me for the model number of the ESC.
The model number is not listed, it's part of the boat inventory... So I replied pointing out the description of the ESC, mentioned a lack of a model number, and referred to the order number and item...

No response for the last 24 hours...

Typical of HobbyKing? I'm a "platinum" member, whatever that's good for... No response and I'm going to RMA the thing.

I've got the same problem since new, I did manage to get it running on two occasions and now it continuously beeps and stops and beeps but will not engage. I'm not expecting any support.

Also had similar problem with the F1 Hornet tunnel hull. Would not engage. Got no help or support. Since then I've had it working by flipping the normal reverse switch on the transmitter. Then the flexi shaft broke on the outboard. 2 unserviceable boats and no fun.

I didn't get a reply for a week, which is ridiculous.
HK checked in about a week later - I had created an RMA so they closed my support request...

Not exactly what I wanted in terms of customer support, but I see they've accepted the RMA.

cb,
This is a long shot but it happened to me once, move your sticks around slowly one at a time and see if the esc engages at any point. I accidently put the throttle wire in the rudder plug got the same result. Also check the leads are plugged into the receiver correctly with the neg wire on the outside. Just a thought.
Good luck
