    Posted: 04/Jun/2012 at 12:22pm
I have a Bixler, which was provided with a 1300mAh 3S 20C. I'm very new at this, and I have a couple of 2650 mAh 3S 30C batteries that I would like to use in this model. I notice the connection is different to the 1300mAh.
Can I use this battery in the Bixler? Can I cut off the connectors and replace them with ones that will fit? I think the ESC on the Bixler is30C (I replaced the original) , and I don't want to see a flaming smoke trail down the sky.
I'm having trouble coming to grips with what will work, and what will cause damage.
I would appreciate some help please.
Cheers,
Barramundi

advise that was given to me was to either get a adaptor for the battery or to make one and not to cut the wires as the risk of shorting the battery can be there Hobbyking have many Adaptors on there site just look for the one you need, http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__465__85__LiPo_LiFe_NiMH_Battery-Battery_Adapters.html they are here, and yes you should be able to use them batteries just cheak the CG

Malcurin...Thanks for your response. I tried the link that you left, but it wont work. Never mind. I have the materials to make a couple of adapters, so I'll see how it goes. As long as the use of the larger batteries won't destroy my electronics.
Thanks once again.

There's a problem with links (especially if the 'quick reply is used). Try this one and if it still won't work, copy and paste this in the browser

I don't care what it says on the profile - I'm so NOT GB!
