A battery with a capacity of 2200mAh will charge in about an hour with a charge current of 2200mA. If charge current is 4400mA, it will charge in half an hour: 2200mAh/4400mA = 0.5h. It's only recommended if the manufacturer says so. If so, it is specified like 2C (4400mA) or 5C (11000mA) charge. If it says 1C, that means max 2200mA charge current. Increasing charge current lowers battery life. How much it will be reduced is hard to say. Fred Edited by flarssen - 01/Jun/2012 at 7:24pm |
