I have 2 of these ESCs. PRODUCT ID: HK-SS20A-HW Hobbyking SS Series 18-20A ESC (card programmable)
I have set my cut-off voltage to low and soft.
I am running 2s batteries.
After running for 2 to 3 minutes, the motors reduces power to what I assume is soft cut-off level.
In low cut-off, the voltage would work out to about 7.8 volts for a 3s battery.
It appears the auto detect is detecting the battery as 3s instead of 2s.
Does anyone know how this autotect actually detects cell count. Possibly it is using the cut-off voltage as a base and if that voltage is higher than the battery voltage, then is would pick a lower cell count. I'm guessing.
