Hi
I had bought servo motors from hobbyking.com.And I need the pulse width and pulse cycle of the these servo motors(it changes servo to servo). My servos are; 1.Turnigy 620DMG+HS High Torque Digital Servo (MG) 10.6kg / .13sec / 52g (((TOO IMPORTANT))) 2. Turnigy Metal Gear Servo 60g/15.5kg/.16sec 3. HK15178 Analog Servo 10g / 1.4kg / 0.09s I had check internet but I could not find any datasheet about these servo motors If you have these information, please send me Best regards ----------------------------------------------------------- some information exist in your website for below servo motor. 4.Corona DS558HV Digital Metal Gear Servo 14kg/ 58g/ 0.18 Sec for corona>>(Dead Band: ≤3uSec Operating Travel: 40º/one side pulse traveling 400us) 5. Turnigy TG9e 9g / 1.5kg / 0.10sec Eco Micro Servo (band-width: 7us ) ---------------------------------------------------------- |

All RC servos will respond to a positive-going pulse of 1mS to 2mS at 20mS intervals.
Many digital servos will also accept a faster interval rate of 8-10mS and some special helicopter servos will work with even smaller interval rates. |

Firstly, thanks for replying.
I will try make system which can be using for position control with using servo motor. And I want to control step by step (1 degree) so I need to learn how much pulse necassary for 1 degree turn to servos. Also I bought servo tester(Turnigy 760LV-HV Dual Pulse Width Selectable Servo Tester). After all electronic system done i will try all pulse (1usec to 10msec) |

Different brands/models of servos will move different amounts for a given change in pulse-width so you will have to determine this empirically for your chosen servos.
Note also that there are two standards for the "center" position. The JR (and generally accepted industry-standard) for center is 1.5mS but Futaba seems to use about 1.52mS (from memory) |

Put couple of equal servos to parallel cable (so called "Y" for two) and see how they move at equal signal. I found that each piece is different.
That is why the transmitters do have servo callibration (or any common name) screen where you set endpoints for each servo separately, even (or especially) if they have to move exactly equal (e.g. left/right flap). For precise control, there are stepper motors with given degree of move at one step. But You need control board drivng their coils.. it is available for arduino though. |
