Ok 9x Gurus,
For my Hoverfly Pro and GPS setup I need to use the 3 position mix switch to drive a single channel (Chan 6) so it has an output of 100%, mid stick/0% and -100%. I already use gain (gear switch) on Chan 5 for Normal flight/auto level and throttle cut on Chan 7 for altitude hold. Does the mixer have to be slaved to a switch? My other option is to look at the pot on one of the other channels and replace it with a 3 position switch with resistors to give me full servo travel either way and a middle position. You will need to enable prog mix 1, 2 and 3, or any 3 unused mixes.
Each mix will be driven by ID1, ID2, and Normal. Then set the master on each mix to an unused channel, ie a channel that never changes values, maybe an unused aux channel. For the slave, usually FLAPs, since you are using channel 6. The set the uprate/downrate accordingly for each mix. Edited by coptor - 25/May/2012 at 10:27am |

Thanks coptor, I'll see if I have another chan available as the master. I think that's where I'm going to have issues. The only unused controls I have are the 5K pots which I don't think can be used as mixing masters on the standard firmware.

Well that was actually easy. You can use Aux 2 PIT Trim pot as the master by just setting it to full -. Worked fine. Learn something new every day
