As Mochanic has stated, it will have been damaged after being made. If it was the manufacturing process then mine would be bent too.

Talking about nuts, I even bought prop adapters where the threaded hole in the nut were way off center and/or at wrong angle.

I was simply making the point that I received two perfectly matching copies of an imperfect adapter.

I have no doubt that the CNC equipment can produce perfect copies - in my case at least two identical adapters - and probably more which are causing problems for other customers.
Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes & dreams.
