Hi, i have a question for Bruce regarding the AXN.. You have a 6x5 prop but would a 6.5x5 be okay to use instead? I have the hobbyking 20amp 3a esc and i am wondering it will become over loaded..
I have also posted this question on the rc model review forum |

I know I'm not from xjet and I'm not bruce. However you don't really need an input from one specific person for this question.
The 6.5x5 give the 20amp esc quite a work out, however it wouldn't overload if you are gentle on the throttle. Your overall efficency will be declined significantly with that prop on the stock or similar type of motor. If the 6.5x5 prop is a must for your setup, then 30 - 40amp esc is required however you will then risk overloading your motor. To wrap it up, 6x4 - 6x5 is the recommended prop for the AXN on stock/similar motors and best paired with at least a 30amp ESC. |
