Over powering is now common with electric, and except piloting which needs to wake up,it's not a drawback ! . I fly a racer ( own design ) Take off weight :680 g / 4S 1500 mah, 410 watt .(engine : top model X power : XA2815/3 with a cam speed prop 4.7x4.7 . ) Well, it still flys !

Wing loading on the glassed Stinger will be high, keep the nose down, keep airspeed up when you're flying and just be careful when you're coming in for a landing andstay out of its path when its landing, it will come in hot. Final approach, feel it all the way down, keep the wings completely level, flare and let the rear wheels (or rear fuse) touch down first but whatever you do, don't let her slip to the right or left.
Sounds almost dirty but just like the "Discovery Channel Mambo", any landing you walk away from in one piece equals another visceral flight (or mambo). |
