That batteri does nit fit into 8fg futaba. That battery is not lipo. That battery is not in 7v - 8v range.

Sorry but your recomendation does not meet any specifications for my futaba 8fg

OK I'll let that go..
The 3s lipo you want is 11.1 volts and too high
Most people recommend LiFe batteries which are 9.9v and
much more stable that lipo batteries, and can be charged inside the
transmitter.

This one fits the 8FG perfectly (I have one in mine) and comes with a Futaba plug on it despite what you see in the picture.

If you have got your 8FG updates done then v4.0 of the software allows you to set the alarm voltage at whatever you want- 6.0v in this case. You also don't have the thermal runaway potential of a lipo if you accidentally leave it on and flatten it completely.

You have got the free upgrades, yes? Or are you still on only eight channels?

Here you go: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__14077__ZIPPY_Flightmax_2500mAh_6_6V_5C_LiFePo4_Receiver_Pack.html

Still got one in mine, still fits perfectly and has sat for six months (don't ask!) without dropping voltage much too.
