my turnigy lipo's say i can charge them at 5c witch would be 25 amps for a 5000 mah pack is that true or what would you charge them at?

Yes, it is true. I always charge at max or higher.

i just want to know if it will damage the batteries, if it wont hurt them i would like to charge them at 10amps but i want to be sure that its not a bad idea

It won't hurt them, even 25 + amps won't hurt them. One genereal rule of thumb is that if the pack is getting hot it is a bad thing.
